Resources

I don't know what I would have done without Google during my miscarriages.  The pregnancy books only touched on the subject, obviously not wanting to scare mothers-to-be.  Understandable.  But when you're losing your baby, Google can either be your best- or your worst- friend.  There's lots of information out there, and only very little has any fact to it.  It can certainly cause unnecessary worrying or grief.  I want to share a few of my resources that helped me during these difficult times.  This is a work in progress, so check back now and then to see if I've added any others... :)

is a message board with all kinds of wonderful ladies who have had various experiences with pregnancy loss.  This board pretty much got me through the weeks after my miscarriages.  There are many caring women who know exactly what you're going through and what you're feeling, ready to provide answers, opinions, or just someone to listen and understand.

is an online store where you can purchase jewelry or other keepsakes to remember a lost little one.  I purchased a necklace from here and I absolutely love it.  Whether you've lost a little one, or you're a caring friend or family member looking for a special gift for someone who has, I highly recommend this site.

Did you know that us mothers who have lost babies (yes, we are still mothers!!) are honored on our very own special Mother's Day?  This year, it fell on Sunday, May 1st.  Yes, there's a Father's Day, too- this year falling on Sunday, September 25th.  Mark your calendars!
